1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern participation in the Halo Golf Challenge (the "Challenge") organised by Halo Golf Ltd ("we", "our", "us").

1.2 By registering and participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participants must be aged 18 or over.

2.2 Participants must be a registered member of a recognised golf club affiliated with Golf England, Wales Golf, Scottish Golf, or Golf Ireland.

2.3 Participants must hold an official WHS (World Handicap System) number/profile through one of the above governing bodies.

3. Registration

3.1 Registration for the Challenge requires payment of a non-refundable fee of £49.99.

3.2 Registration provides eligibility to participate during the qualifying season only.

3.3 Registration is strictly personal and non-transferable.

4. Qualifying Criteria

4.1 The Challenge is only open during the recognised qualifying season as defined by the relevant golf governing bodies.

4.2 Eligible attempts must be made during official 18-hole qualifying competitions at the participant's home club.

4.3 Only one designated Halo Hole per club is eligible. The hole must:

  • Be a par 3 measuring at least 150 yards from the competition tees.
  • Be clearly identified and communicated to members in advance.

4.4 A successful hole-in-one must be video recorded in its entirety, from tee-off to the ball coming to rest in the hole.

4.5 A maximum of two entries per week is permitted if the participant's club runs more than one separate 18-hole qualifying competition (e.g., a Saturday medal and a Sunday stableford).

4.6 Casual golf, winter league golf, or non-qualifying formats do not count.

5. Validation and Verification

5.1 To claim a prize, participants must submit:

  • The official, validated competition scorecard.
  • Video evidence of the hole-in-one on the designated Halo Hole.
  • Confirmation of results published by the club/handicap system (Golf England, Wales Golf, Scottish Golf, or Golf Ireland).

5.2 We reserve the right to verify all claims directly with the golf club and governing body.

5.3 Any fraudulent claims will result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and potential legal action.

6. Prizes

6.1 A verified hole-in-one on the designated Halo Hole during a qualifying round entitles the participant to a prize of £5,000.

6.2 Prizes will only be paid following successful verification of all evidence.

6.3 Payments will be made directly to the participant's nominated bank account.

7. Fair Play

7.1 By entering, participants agree to uphold the spirit of the game and the integrity of the Challenge.

7.2 Collusion, falsification, or deliberate misrepresentation will result in permanent exclusion and possible legal proceedings.

8. Liability

8.1 Halo Golf Ltd accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.

8.2 Participants are responsible for ensuring their video equipment does not interfere with pace of play or breach club rules.

8.3 We are not responsible for technical failures (e.g., incomplete recordings, corrupted files).

9.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and the Republic of Ireland, as applicable.

9.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant country.
